Frequently Asked Questions
01What lash extension styles do you offer?
I offer Classic, Hybrid, and Volume lash extensions. Classic gives a natural mascara look (1:1 ratio), Hybrid blends classic and volume fans for a wispy texture, and Volume uses 2–6 ultra-fine fibers per lash for a dramatic, fluffy result.
02How long do lash extensions last?
Extensions typically last 4–6 weeks. Visible fullness begins to decrease after 2–3 weeks as natural lashes shed, so I recommend a refill every 2–3 weeks. After 4 weeks without a refill, a full set is usually required.
03Are lash extensions safe for my natural lashes?
Yes — when applied by a trained professional using proper isolation and medical-grade adhesive. Each extension is bonded to a single natural lash individually, which protects the health and growth cycle of your natural lashes.
04How do I prepare for my first lash extension appointment?
Arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes — no mascara, eyeliner, or oil-based products near the eyes. Remove contact lenses before your appointment. Shower beforehand since lashes must stay dry for 24 hours after application.
05Can I wear mascara with lash extensions?
Mascara is not recommended with extensions as it weakens the adhesive bond and is very difficult to remove safely. Extensions are designed to replace your mascara — you simply will not need it.
06What aftercare do lash extensions require?
Keep lashes dry for 24 hours. Avoid all oil-based products around the eyes, do not rub or pull at the lashes, brush gently with a clean spoolie each morning, and cleanse every 2–3 days with a lash-safe foam cleanser.
